Add Em Up is one of the better puzzle games, that besides training the brain to add numbers is also one which requires strategy. Therefore this is one that will appeal to both types of gamers; the ones that love puzzle games, and the strategy enthusiasts among us.
The objective is to clear the playing field by strategically placing numbers on the field so that the surroundings add up to the same amount. In order to do this you have a limited amount of moves you can make, and when all moves are used and the area is not clear, you lose.
The game is played by using the mouse and it is a simple point and click game. Graphically the game is quite nicely designed and very colorful, which gives it a pleasing and fresh appearance. Decent sound effects add to the fun, and the game is truly a challenge, even for those who pride themselves as being good strategists.
Because of the large strategy factor this is a game less suitable for young children. Parents, who think this one may help in training the kids by sharpening their math, better think again, as this may be a bit too complex for them. Adults however, and especially older ones, may benefit from this game as it truly makes for excellent brain training!
